Pushing the Limits of Girlish

Found glass plate negative, brought to the front of my stream to show as a much better scan than the one I had done previously, and also to post in the Vintage Photos Theme Park Group for this week's theme of 'Strange Clothing."
I think it qualifies for that. : )

I wonder if she's decked out for May Day. The background photos are also interesting and I wonder what that well-worn board on the floor was used for. Fun photo.

Thanks for all the great comments, folks. She looks like a rather masculine Little Bo-Peep to me - but perhaps it is a May Day thing.
lisabee, my kind husband did a lot of photoshop work on this, as the glass plate was not scanning very well - it does have a rather ghostly feel to it, I agree.
I am really wishing I had the original of that photograph of the kids. From what I can see, it looks fabulous.
