The Infamous Squint

Guess I was especially sensitive to the sun, or else my family took almost no photographs that didn't entail staring right into the sun, but I squint into the light in innumerable pictures.
I'm about one here and this is my father holding me. Taken in Walthamstow, London. 1955.
I'm sure that was probably the only car parked on the street.
It wasn't ours - we never had a car in England.
