A Tribute to Mom

My mother's favorite flower was the rose. She was one of the unsung heros who performed the most important job in the world; raising her children to become productive and loving members of society. Hers was a hard life, raising her daughters alone in a time when it was not common to do so. As such, she encountered financial difficulty and stigma. In her later years she battled Crohns Disease and Rheumatoid Arthritis.Yet, despite all the trials and tribulations, she succeeded in her mission. The legacy she leaves are two daughters, two grandchildren and two great grandsons, who she was fortunate enough to meet and get to love before her passing 3 years ago.
