Howard Somerville club has replied to Isisbridge clubVenice, despite the world economic situation, was as heaving with tourists as ever, and a lot of shots can't be taken because many of the iconic buildings (including the Duomo) are undergoing restoration and are hidden by scaffolding and sheeting, and are likely to be for years yet.
My group (there were 6 plus the leader) were a slightly odd collection of characters but all were serious photographers and I had quite an enjoyable time.
My tripod (a cheap travel one) disintegrated when I first tried to use it, but it wasn't needed. This was taken with the camera resting on the parapet of a stone bridge.
Isisbridge club has replied to Howard Somerville clubAddendum: The tally has now gone up to THREE with your 'Venice at Dawn' shot.
