Since I've been admiring your shots, I have also been staggered by what you do to get rid of unwanted stuff (it's akin to magic to me!
I always try and guess what you have removed. An aerial here, a car in the way, a herd of wildebeest there --- I'm full of admiration even if I don't have any clue how you do it!

Thanks. I've done a lot of that, admittedly, but it isn't quite as clever as it seems, because the human eye is easily fooled - ask any conjurer or 3-card trickster.

Removing TV aerials and cables from a background of sky is easy, as are road markings from plain asphalt or cables etc from plain walls. When they're against a background of branches, bricks, railings or roof tiles it's trickier, and most difficult of all are parked cars and road signs partly hiding the buildings behind them. With those, once the cars etc. are removed, the missing parts of the buildings must be reconstructed as convincingly as possible, the 'replaced' parts being pure guesswork and fiction.

He removed a whole bus on one of mine! Only I didn't want it removed.

With a little coaching, you could have done it, but best to mind my own business.

But I didn't WANT it removed! It was a nice little bus and a happy reminder of when we used to have a bus route through here.

This is a nice, well composed scene, but a little too harsh.

Just to humour you, I added sky to the Stokesay Castle one. Appreciation for my effort, please.

Don't agree. The only valid criticism of this shot is the obvious barrel distortion. My new software can correct this but in doing so it would of necessity crop the image, and South and East here there's no scope for cropping.

Thank you, dear Howard, for your supreme effort on the Stokesay Castle picture.
I've already faved it. What more can I do?

Fave it twice, especially now that I've (as best I can) fixed that wall.

I'm glad you've fixed the wall, albeit in a slightly slapdash way, as I can see some repeating patterns in one area. If I fave it twice, the second fave will simply cancel out the first. So perhaps you would prefer me to fave it thrice?

Howard Somerville club has replied to Isisbridge club
What area? The coping stones on the wall are similar in size and shape, so any repeating pattern is genuine.

Verily I say unto thee that this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt fave it thrice.

I do believe you've altered them again! One section of coping now looks too light, like (as though) it's had a recent repair job. The colour needs matching with the rest.

Sorry, but that's as good as it gets, as the endless editing and re-uploading is about to drive me up the wall. It's my only way of coping.

Then restore it to the last version. The repetition isn't noticeable without a magnifying glass.

That's fine now. You're coping very well.

The reason that that wall is visually intrusive is that it's not part of the original structure. It was built in modern times to separate the area for which the NT charge an entrance fee from that outside.
