Gosportarians Car and Bike Show, Walpole Park, Gosport.

Poor weather threatened the success of this event but there were some interesting and beautifully cared for vehicles there. I am very grateful to be able to photograph cars which I did not capture in their and my younger years.

On the face of it, the Capri, of which nearly 1.9m were sold, is not at all my kind of car but I find that I have a soft spot for it. I think that is because of the feelings it stirred when I was not even old enough to drive.
