The Blades (1) - 7 July 2019

The Blades Aerobatic Team (2019), l-r Kirsty Murphy (Blade 2), Mike Ling (Blade 3), Andy Evans (Blade 1) and James McMillan (Blade 4). Seen in Cafe at Zero 5, Solent Airport, the team were due to perform at Goodwood (Festival of Speed) for a third day before moving to the Wales Airshow at Swansea.

The team briefed for the Goodwood display but a heavy shower line was moving steadily across the airfield from the east/north east. In the event, after being much delayed, the display was reluctantly cancelled and, when the weather improved, The Blades departed to Wales.
