Chaps & Co - 11 July 2019

On an early morning visit to the centre of Lee on Solent the lettering of Chaps & Co caught my eye. Intentionally distressed is probably a correct description but I thought at first that some old lettering might have been revealed on this property which has had several identities. Chaps & Co is, in fact, the latest and current occupier of this corner shop at 128 High Street and Manor Way. Ostensibly a barber, a look through the window reveals what seems to me to be a rather chaotic interior. Such is the choice of interior appointments, which include a small table football set, that this looks like someones den and the two barbers chairs become almost incidental.

Interesting geotagging from ipernity this time as Solent Pet Supplies was indeed a former occupier of 128 High Street.
