Iguana (2) - 24 October 2018

Some of the best photographs are unplanned and by best I do not mean technically but those which make one happiest. I have already written that I like the wide variety of lizards living in South Florida. At the upper end of the lizard size scale come the iguanas and I absolutely love them. We were driving around the perimeter road at North Perry Airport primarily, as you might imagine, to see aircraft when we came across at least three iguanas near the road. Unfortunately, I successfully photographed only one as another did not care for the car idling so close and made in a semi-dignified fashion for the slightly taller vegetation and nearby water. On this occasion, I did not take any aircraft pictures at North Perry but I was very happy.
