Indianapolis - 13 October 2016

The Midwestern city of Indianapolis, nicknamed The Crossroads of America, is a very pleasant city which, although a major convention location, is probably not high on the list of tourist destinations for UK and European visitors. Nevertheless it is worth a visit especially for aficionados of museums and monumental architecture.

This is the view from the Indiana Central Canal outside the Indiana State Museum, east towards the downtown skyline with the State Capitol to the right.
