House Finch Pair - 16 October 2016

I sometimes wish I had a DSLR and long lens - until I remember that I do not want to hump it all around on long journeys. A bridge camera is a compromise but the FZ200 makes it a worthy compromise most of the time.

Taken at the extreme of the available zoom, the lack of sharpness does not much diminish the joy of seeing this beautiful pair of House Finches above my Palm Springs hotel.
