Snail - 14 April 2016

My macro work is, frankly, hit or miss so I was very pleased with this. To retain my humility, I should admit that this is the only image I could post out of nine attempts. I have mentioned in the past that looking up can produce good results; the same applies to looking down. My usual pursuits are evident from the bulk of my photostream and the appearance of this lovely snail was a pleasant distraction from watching aircraft at nearby San Carlos airport, California.
