Eyes Magazine


While a college student Arlene Morris, appeared as a model for the very first cover and issue of Eyes Magazine, an early publication about African American life and culture, in 1946. She also served on the magazines staff. The magazine was only in publication from '46 to '47. Cover Girl, Miss Morris was also the first African American female psychologist to be licensed by the Iowa State Board of Psychology.
