Girls' Dance Team, Blue Triangle Branch of the YWCA of Des Moines, Iowa. The Blue Triangle Branch of the Young Women's Christian Association of Des Moines was founded in 1919 to offer segregated programs for the African-American community. In 1947 it merged with the main branch of the YWCA as part of a nationwide integration program. History of Iowa
