Your mum was a great gardener, and you can see her love for flowers in this picture. I much prefer cottage gardens like this, rather than designed ones. Doesn't she do much nowadays? I wish you a great week to come

Yes and no, Jenny. She still keeps an amazing garden but needs more and more help with the heavy stuff. Fortunately there's a local gardener who comes round every 3 months or so and does the pruning back of the bushes, the lawns and their edges and taking away the garden rubbish.

Thank you, Esther. My Mum is getting on a bit and some things are beyond her now but she still keeps up a superb garden in all seasons!
