Enjoy the Easter weekend.
Andy Rodker club has replied to Jenny McIntyre clubI look at this photo and I realise how bizarre my parents' house really is! From the street it looks tiny. But it extends back and back and back and up and up and up! (The Tardis would be a good analogy!)
On this photo the majority of the roof space is my parent's. it extends over the next door property and is legally known as a flying freehold (the two properties were originally one). There is also an adit mineshaft running below the house but that is under 50 feet of granite so OK! But I had to get a mortgage for my parents to get this place and that flying freehold was a bummer. In the end I found a lender willing to play ball; thankfully! 25 years on and they are still here (just!)
