This is the old abbey isn't it? It looks as if it's situated in the hills and in a quite place. Yet if I remember you saying before, it's very close to civilisation. It's a beautiful picture and is framed so well.

I show two religious establishments Jenny and it can be confusing.
This it the Palace / monastery of El Escorial, once the headquarters of the Spanish Empire.
I also show a much smaller monastery in another mountain range but maybe only 15 miles apart. I like to go for walks near both!
