Calm sea with very gentle ripples. See the vertical tin mine shaft on the cliff face. Coastal erosion has exposed it. Its construction probably caused a fault line in the rock which, I hazard a guess here, hastened the erosion!

I've posted many from here and I feel no pressing need to explain further why this is so! The place speaks for itself! And the mussels were tasty!

My low tide coastal shoreline walk at about the halfway mark. Mussels cling to the rocks. A bit small at this time of year but as it was September 1st, quite OK to collect them! (In Britain there is a saying that you should only eat oysters when there is an 'r' in the month; therefore August - no, September - yes. I know these aren't oysters but I stick to the same reasoning to do with their spawning season!)

Very low tide. Looking between Asparagus and Samphire Islands over to one of the Crane Islands.
