I was going to ask you what this chimney was there for, but I see your suggestion that it might be a smoke vent, sounds very plausible. This is a great picture and I just love the backdrop of the mountain. The cloud pushing its way between the mountains looks as if the weather is very changeable there.

Those were the days I was coming here twice a week (that is why so many of my Spanish shots are from 2012!), Now?? Once a year; and my annual visit I hope will be between now and the 2nd week of June to capture the late spring wildflower show in the higher mountains. It is just a pain that this co-incides with my busiest few weeksof the year (exam time) and getting time away from all the grind ain't easy. But I gotta do it for the sakeiof my sanity!
