Sierra de La Cabrera, on the old GR10

The long distance path from Lisbon to Somewhere in Valencia province used to pass by here. Then on one walk I saw that the distinctive red and white waymarks had been left to fade away and quite by chance I saw them, freshly painted, on the other side of the Sierra. No idea why the route has been shifted 10 km to the north!

Very good photograph, Andy.
Andy Rodker club has replied to Jenny McIntyre clubYes, it does (did, it now seems) form a small part of a great long-distance footpath, but even that is little used. On my many visits here (probably more than a 100 in 9 years), I never saw any obvious long-distance trekkers!
