Andy Rodker club has replied to Pam J club..............and nicely grown, Andy's Mum :-)
Andy Rodker club has replied to Keith Burton clubI do pass on your comments, Keith but pse see my reply to Diane below!
Andy Rodker club has replied to Diane Putnam clubShe made a conscious decision, some years ago, that human communication had to involve the immediate senses - voice and in person. Letters and postcards would also do. Anything more technical than that and it wasn't something she wished to get involved with. She had a mobile phone many years ago for emergencies but lost it after never having used it and that, as they say, was that!
She manages perfectly well without, organising her bowls club fixtures and so on ... all on the phone (landline!). And her gardening and painting and keeping my Dad watered and fed don't need high tech either!
(My Dad is the high tech geek in my family; he bought the first Apple Mac marketed in the UK and has been a computer nerd ever since, so he more than makes up for my Mum's lack of interest! He's 87!)
