Fallen oak. Sierra de La Cabrera
Shot taken in July 2011 and there is still some greenery. Normally everything is parched and arid by July, but there was some rain in early summer and the green was prolongued a while longer than normal. It didn't save the tree though!

Lovely! The rocks and the trees/shrubs make a great foreground, especially the dead tree which really pulls the eye into the shot!

This has always been a fave shot of mine Keith - ever since I took it in July 2012. It had zero response on Pano so I was a bit apprehensive about re-posting it here. But it already has a very pleasing response.
