Oh no. I have a friend who's worked for the EU in Brussels for 20 years, retired, and now discovers she can't move back home to take care of her mother without paying taxes in both countries. That must feel infuriating!

No. Against all expectations, Madrid Province missed the worst of it. It went to the north - on the other side of the mountains you can see on the horizon here! we just saw the edge of it!
