Ayllon, Segovia Province. Plaza Mayor.

I really liked this town. Lots of interesting back streets and curious corners, nooks and crannies. It was September 19, but look at the temperature (in red on the left); I guess this would be approx 95F!
Roger (Grisly), MARCEL, Diane Putnam, micritter and 33 other people have particularly liked this photo

As I've commented before, tho, it's easy to see why the _conquistadores_ felt right at home in what's now the southwest US (and adjacent Mexico)!
Andy Rodker club has replied to slgwv clubI presume you mean that they fell in love with the architecture and towns of the area due to the similarities with their homeland?
:o)
Diane,

Andy Rodker club has replied to Peggy C clubThe conversion WAS a guess but I think I have just about worked it out now. I know 22C is a very pleasant 70F and that 37.something = 100F. Also that 40 degrees below is the same in both!
I was pleased to have found an outside clock at last!
All best wishes
Andy
