Big Sable Point

While waiting for the sunset at Big Sable Point on Lake Michigan we walked north up the beach and wandered around there looking for subjects. I was there with my youngest brother and a friend while on a recent trip to Michigan to visit family. Big Sable Point is part of Ludington State Park and has an active lighthouse, the goal of our hike.

Have a good day......:-)
Great, Ron
Ron, this collection of beautiful images steals my heart. The main image is so awesome--I just love driftwood and these logs are Wonder Twins! :) Or rather, they are part of the same stump, aren't they? GRAND! Perfectly photographed.
Your other images are so nice, the pebbles on the sandy shore that show where the water was dragging patterns...I cannot resist this kind of scene! And the lake--which makes me think it's an ocean--with the deep blue waves...a treasure. Serenity and peace ooze from these images and I just love them!
Thanks for your visit! I'm glad you liked my birdy pictures--I thought it would be nice to share the other "keepers" in that group of avian images and am delighted others liked the pictures too!
Loved reading about your adventures, sounds so wonderful! And Petosky stones? That would be grand to toss them into our tumbler! Of course I'd love to have a few if you don't mind sending me some--send extras that I can tumble for you and send back! :) Perhaps the result would be the last straw before you guys cave and get your own tumbler! :)
By the way, we've now got more finished stones...to the point that the counter space in the kitchen is much reduced...heh...but the tumblers keep tumblin', and more rocks will be done soon! :D So many gorgeous rocks...unbelievable really! And of course we're both looking forward to getting MORE rocks on our next trip! YAY!
Sorry about the icky weather on the way to MI but maybe it will be nice on the way back!
Hope the wedding is a lovely one!
have a nice & safe week, Ron !
