Beryl Spring

Beryl Spring
Continuing our tour of Yellowstone National Park, we leave Gibbon Falls and head north along the west side of the lower loop of the main road and soon arrive at Beryl Spring, which is on the west side of the road, the Gibbon River into which the spring empties, on the other side of the road. Beryl Spring, named for its color, is one of the hottest springs in Yellowstone at 196 °F (91 °C). The insets show the water of the spring emptying into the river and the river itself looking north and south.
