Tahquamenon Falls State Park

Tahquamenon Falls State Park is in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan near Lake Superior. The Upper Falls are the most spectacular and are Michigan's largest falls. The Lower Falls are really just cascades which go around a small island in the middle of the river. That island can be reached by rowing a boat across the basin below the falls, which we did when we visited there. These photos were all taken from the boat we used and the foam is from the falls.
