Kootenay River
These three photos are all of the Kootenay River which we followed most of the way through the National Park in 2014. The park is far less busy than Banff and Jasper and is equally beautiful.

HOLY COW RON!! These pictures are just incredible!!! Steve and I will absolutely HAVE to go here and spend some time hanging out. I can't get over how gorgeous it is here. Your pictures are outstanding to say the least.

GUESS WHAT I FOUND ON MY PROPERTY!!!!! SCARLET FRITILLARIES!!! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I couldn't believe it!! I found one back in 2012 which was et by something the very DAY one of the buds was going to open...and though I looked carefully each year since (except the past couple when I was in a creative void) I never found another one. And then yesterday...BOOM!!! 5 plants on our ridgeline!! HOORAY!!! You will find my story and pictures on my stream today, what fun it is to get such a victory!

I know you are probably traveling east right now...I hope all is well and please drive safe and have as much fun as you can between the not so fun stuff! Hug your parents lots and lots, and then some more...
