Columbia Lake

These photos were taken in 2014 south of Kootenay National Park in British Columbia. This and the first inset show Columbia Lake, the source of the Columbia River, which flows 2000 km (1243 mi) from here to its mouth at Astoria, Oregon. The other inset is of the Dutch Creek Hoodoos.

Thanks so much for your kind visits:)
Just a quick check-in here, no time to write. I did use a link to one of your red-winged blackbird pictures yesterday I think...we had one at our feeders for the first time! Couldn't believe it! Couldn't share an image so I found an awesome shot by you and put a link in a note...hopefully folks visited and got to see your beautiful picture!
Oh, and thank you so much for your visits and commentary, I love it! Hopefully will have more time tomorrow for chatter! :) *big hugs*
and what a bright day!
Wonderful shots, Ron!
