Osprey

This was taken by my wife outside the town of Medical Lake, Washington, where we were watching on osprey bringing food to the next. Having come with a fish the bird was just leaving again when the photo was snapped.

In the area where this was taken there are a lot of lakes and a lot of Ospreys and they put up nesting poles for them, which makes it easy to watch them. This nest was on one of those poles.
