Snow Geese

Snow Geese
These snow geese were photographed in the tulip and daffodil fields in the Skagit Valley. The geese seemed to prefer the unplanted, grassy areas but some of the bulb fields are visible in the distance. There were thousands of geese and the noise they made was deafening.

Maeluk, Diane Putnam, Rainer Blankermann, Schussentäler and 27 other people have particularly liked this photo

Wonderful light and detail! They prefer open fields to Tulips 'cause there're more bugs and they can eat grass, but no part of the Tulips =) Nice capture!
