Sunrise over the Tobacco Root Mountains

The Tobacco Root Mountains are a range of the Rocky Mountains in Montana. There are over 40 peaks above 10,000 feet (3km) in the range. We watched the sunrise over them on a trip to Yellowstone National park last summer and I've posted this especially for Duane (Prairie Rambler), since it was taken in his beloved and beautiful state. There is considerable disagreement about the name of these mountains and how the name originated, but most likely refers to the roots of a plant, Mullein or Arnica, used as a substitute for tobacco, or even to the Bitterroot, which when cooked is supposed to smell like tobacco.
