Italian Flag at Olympic Village

In Explore February 20, 2010, #387, but not picked up by Scout. Thanks to Boshaft for finding it.
For Valter.
This was photographed from the Cambie Bridge in Vancouver overlooking the Olympic Village. Most of the flags were hanging on the sides of buildings, but the Italian flag was hanging above them all on this huge crane. We speculated that it was there because the last winter Olympics had been in Turin, Italy, or that some of the athletes had been daring enough to climb the crane and hang their flag there. Dennis suggested that perhaps the crane operator was Italian. You may take your pick of explanations.
