He comes from Colombia.
This is a closeup of a small orchid, Restrepia guttulata. In this case the flowers are 5-6 cm on a 10 cm plant with stiff stems and heart-shaped leaves.
Interestingly, Restrepias are among the few orchids that can be propagated from leaf cuttings.
