Trisetella hoeijeri

Once classified with Masdevallia, Trisetella hoeijeri belongs to a genus of tiny plants, most of which have tiny, reddish-brown flowers with short yellow tails. This plant is less than an inch tall but the flowers are one and a half inches from tip to tip. It is from Ecuador and the flowers always remind me of white birds in flight.
