Dendrobium agathodaemonis

Dendrobium agathodaemonis
This tiny Dendrobium is native to the highlands of Papua New Guinea. The plant, half an inch tall, is dwarfed by the one and a quarter inch flowers. It comes in a variety of bright colors and requires cool temperatures. It is considered by some to be synonymous with Dendrobium cuthbertsonii, but lacks the dark markings on the lip and the plant lacks the swollen pseudobulbs of that species.

This is a nice macro shot! It must be a cactus flower, as I find it is not very delicate! Am I right? The colors are nice. I just see it's an orchid, so that explains it! Some orchids are like that!I like the composition too. In my opinion, I would have set it off with a bright background to give it more light!
