Dart tie bar

Made by Sophos Lambourne Ltd. in the UK. My father won it in a pub tournament in Northern Ireland in about 1968. I don't know whether they are still in business, but there are quite a few vintage pieces online. They seem to concentrate on men's traditional accessories, such as cuff links and tie bars, and specialty items like the most adorable "Lorry and Digger Cufflinks."

Founded in Birmingham during 1868 Lambournes Sophos Ltd were manufacturers of braces, spats, buttons and studs, which were supplied both to the gentry and the menswear trade. Over the following decades the company expanded its range to include cufflinks armbands, belts, leather goods and gifts. In 1981 it was acquired by the Arnold Wills Group - the UK’s largest manufacturer of fashion belts, braces and leather goods supplying the multiple retail sector.
