Tuareg cross
Also called Agadez cross. This one is in the Ethiopian Coptic style, but that would not mean it is a religious item for the Tuareg. The "Agadez cross" is a simple and more elongated style, my mother had one, and when I find it I'll post a photo.

A lovely piece Diane.

The video in the link is fascinating..............it's amazing what they can come up with with the most basic of equipment. They also must have fingers made of asbestos!

They certainly are tough people. I don't know what the reason is for "baking" the metal inside clay. Maybe it tempers it. Thank you, Keith!
