I've always missed those little extra windows we called wings. Some people called them wind-wings. Discontinued, I guess, to save money or because they didn't look streamlined.

Gee, so many different names for them. I wonder what the official car manufacturer's term was. It seems that in the modern era, most changes were/are made for the sake of either saving money or charging more money. ;-o Thank you, tiabunna!

Uh oh, another similarity -- I had an English Ford. Mine though was something like late 50's. There's a difficult family story behind it, which I don't want to give, but that's a way to say it was a very awkward car both to drive and own.
