"Brooke" was very sweet

"Brooke" was very sweet
She's almost two years old and an East European shepherd, also called a Russian-German shepherd. It's an interesting breed I had never heard of.

She has alot of filling out to do still. Sweet Girl

The Eastern GSDs are darker.. more compact.. and broader. You see then properly trained as security dogs.

It was interesting to read about them. Apparently, when the German shep is crossed with something like the Caucasian ovcharka, they can be pretty fierce and not good with children or strangers. This dog was sweet as pie and happy to meet me, but probably not trained as a guard.

She was quite slender and I had assumed she was a Belgian Malinois.

When we don't leave dogs being dominant, they can be very sweet !! Education first !!!

Absolutely, the person is the boss at all times! Some dog-owners don't understand that (especially small dogs!).

Fine shot.
In case you didn't see my reply to your Cornish accent question,
you could do worse than listen to a bit of Jethro;

Thanks, Diane! He's great. I would like more people to know about him (he's been very famous in Cornwall for decades now!).
May I ask a favour of you, please. Would you mind copying and pasting your reply just above in to my photo comments where I have the dark rocks photo of Porthcadjack on my first page. I would really appreciate it!
Thank you!

Yes! But, I don't know where I'm supposed to put it, exactly. You have two Porthcadjack photos (I think). And, in what context would that comment suddenly appear? I'm dumber than usual, it's winter.

OH! I see what you mean. The REALLY dark rocks...

A new breed to me too. I love the look in her eye -- she's attentive, and ready for the next adventure.

She radiates intelligence and dedication, doesn't she? Right after this shot she came up close, nudged me like she wanted me to pet her. So, I did!
