Burned by salt

Two hostas were wilted and did not thrive, then leaves had burned edges by July. I suspect too much ice-melt (salt) got onto the soil around them from last winter. I don't think they're going to survive through next year. ;-(

Ohh, poor hostas, lucky slugs! Thank you so much, Keith, I photograph my dead hosta leaves every year. Annual event - lol!
