Nightmare pic !!!

Peggy is referring to a mower disaster a week ago. An 11 mth old ride on blowing a piston through the engine casing as I was driving it. . It went with a huge BANG.

Warrentee was voided cos we dared to open the engine to see what %$^&*()_+ was going on.

Had to buy a new ride on.. (least keeping the dead one we have a zillion spares ! (So some money back as such) . They then delivered the wrong one on Saturday ... they were sooooo apologetic. told me to use it (warned them I dont have "lawn" they said its fine.. USE it !!) and they came and got it on Sunday and brought the right one !!

Sigh... fun week..

Haha, that's so cool! And so very American...My mom still uses an old lawnmower you have to push by hand.

We still use those in small yards. His former property was huge. If the yard is the size of eight ordinary yards, then one of these is needed! It's also a snow plow in the winter. In other words, it's another sign of big American spaces. Personally, I wouldn't bother with a lawn that big, just let most of it return to nature, because it was way out in the country. ;-)
