Jessie Applegate Smith


Jessie died in childbirth. Her infant son died 11 days later and is buried with her here. The Applegate family settled in the Oregon territory in 1843 and had a big role in the early pioneer history of the state. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Applegate_Trail
