Elizabeth and Ludwig Biehn

The Biehn family came by covered wagon over the Oregon Trail in 1884. Ludwig was born in Munich, Bavaria. The Biehns became one of southern Oregon's most prominent pioneer families. Elizabeth was born in Callbach, Rhineland-Palatinate and married Ludwig in 1869. From her obituary, "...her residence here of thirty years, together with her loveable traits of character gave her a wide circle of friends who will regret her passing."
