"Tools of the Trade" ... absolutely no camera, camera bits and accessories... Show us what you do, did, used or wanted to do in the way of a 'job'!

This is the tool I use constantly. Despite all the technological progress a piece of chalk and a blackboard is still best suited to explain something.
When I see your great photos of your tools now, I think my picture is pretty boring ... :-D

This is a really great high key shot. I like how your chalk is wrapped in paper. It's a lot kinder to your hands than holding the chalk.

I can't remember seeing any blackboards used anymore... All replaced by whiteboards in our university. I kind of miss those blackboards =/

beautifully minimal image. I do a lot of teaching work too and you can't beat a big board for explaining stuff, though I use white boards and pens.

oh I love how this is so minimal, fantastic shot Chrissy. I have never seen square chalk, I thought this was a ream of paper all spread out! I work in an accounting firm and we use our whiteboard a lot! It's almost the same as this.
and never compare your photos to others, everyone does a fabulous job with their own 'spin'!

Oh this is NOT boring!! I like the simplicity of it and it brings back memories of all that chalk I used in the classroom. A few years after I retired they were replacing the blackboards ( ours were green) with those white boards. We did not have a wrapper on our chalk which is a very good idea in that it helps keep your hands from drying out. :)
