➽ Die Peutingerstraße ist nach Konrad Peutinger (1464-1547), einem berühmten Juristen, Staatsmann und Humanisten aus der Kaufmanns- und Patrizierfamilie Peutinger benannt.
Als Augsburger Stadtschreiber war er einer der wichtigsten Politiker der Reichsstadt in der Reformationszeit. Er war Berater von Kaiser Maximilian I. und dessen Nachfolger Kaiser Karl V.

➽ The Peutinger street is named after Konrad Peutinger (1464-1547), a famous lawyer, statesman and humanist from the Peutinger merchant and patrician family.
As Augsburg city clerk, he was one of the most important politicians of the imperial city during the Reformation. He was an advisor to Emperor Maximilian I and his successor, Emperor Karl V.
