➽ Der Augsburger "Plärrer" ist mit etwa 1,2 Millionen Besuchern pro Jahr das größte Volksfest in Bayerisch-Schwaben. Er findet zweimal im Jahr statt: Im Frühjahr (beginnend am Ostersonntag) und im Spätsommer (Ende August/Anfang September) und dauert jeweils ca. zwei Wochen.
Dieses Volksfest kann auf eine mehr als tausendjährige Tradition zurückblicken. Zurückzuführen ist der Plärrer auf die Dulten im Stadtgebiet. Vom „Geplärre“ der Händler und Besucher wird der spätere Name Plärrer abgeleitet.

➽ The Augsburger "Plärrer" is with approximately 1.2 million visitors per year, the largest folk festival in Bavarian Swabia. It takes place twice a year: in the spring (beginning on Easter Sunday) and late summer (late August/early September) and lasts about two weeks.
This festival looks back on a more than thousand-year tradition. It's lead back to the "Dulten" (Fairs) in the urban area. The later name of the festival "Plärrer" is derived from the "Geplärre" (yelling) of the traders and visitors.

Danke, Maik - ja, erstmal alles abgesagt - zum Glück, wenn ich seh, wie die Leute noch immer in Scharen rumhocken, wären die bestimmt auch aufs Volksfest gegangen! ;(

Ich war auch schon seit Urzeiten nicht mehr bei sowas. Wenn ich schon die ganzen Trachtenträger aus den Bahnen quellen sehe....Das bleibt uns dieses Frühjahr erspart;-)

-> ausgefressene Lichter: aber geh! Die sind doch gar nicht im Blick und dazu so filigran!!! Die werden durch das tiefe Schwarz oben und die bunte Diagonale doch mehr als ausgeglichen. Ich habe sie nicht (negativ) bemerkt - und schaue mir üblicherweise Bilder recht gut an ...
Was hat mir mal ein Fotograf gesagt? Bis 10% ausgefressene Lichter geht noch o.k.

Trotzdem störens mich - gerade die um "Karls Pilsglas", der braucht mal ne dezentere Beleuchtung! ;-D
