➽ Neues Kesselhaus der ehemaligen Augsburger Kammgarn-Spinnerei
Im Zuge der Neuerschließung der ca. 12,9 ha großen Industriebrache werden seit Ende 2009 große Teile des Komplexes abgerissen. Geplant sind Wohnbebauung und Einzelhandel, eine Kindertagesstätte und ein Stadtteilzentrum. Im neuen Kesselhaus soll ein Hotel entstehen.
Integriert in die Fassade aus dem Jahr 1935 wird ein komplettes 3-Sterne-Premium-Hotel. Dabei sollen Teile des Inventars erhalten bleiben und ausgestellt werden. Dazu zählen die alten denkmalgeschützten Dieselmotoren, ein originaler Deckenkran und die historischen Heizkessel.

As part of the redevelopment of the approx. 12.9 ha industrial wasteland, large parts of the complex have been demolished since the end of 2009. Residential buildings and retail, a day nursery and a district center are planned.
A hotel is to be built in the New Boiler House.
Into the facade from 1935 a complete 3-star premium hotel should be integrated. Parts of the inventory should be preserved and displayed. These include the old listed diesel engines, an original ceiling crane and the historic boilers.
