➽ When the Hotel tower (engl.) was to be built, many citizens were against it! Today it's one of the many landmarks of Augsburg and is affectionately called as "Corn cob-Tower"!

➽ Als der Hotelturm gebaut werden sollte, waren viele Bürger dagegen! Heute ist er eines der vielen Wahrzeichen von Augsburg und wird liebevoll "Maiskolben-Tower" genannt!

...und international - die beiden ähnlichen Türme in Chicago werden da auch "Corn cob" genannt! ;-DD
