Still life on the canal.

Still life on the canal.
We are taking a stroll on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal here in the village of Uppermill and I cannot but notice a splendid barge with lots of hand painted knick-knacks on display. Yes, it was in fact a shop for such things. It was to move off towards our Stanedge tunnel soon into Yorkshire and so I could not linger. The barge was in fact the 'Zep Tepi' from the Shropshire Union Canal. See PiPs

I was reminded of your village shops here - the ones that you found colourful things to photograph. An exciting find that like you, I imagine, took full advantage of capturing. Of course after asking permission first. A nice lady but I would not know what to do with such objects if I bought them. I liked the addition of the flowers here. Great that you enjoyed it all too.
